Gaming Life 2001

Before we jump into the 10 Best Xbox One Games of 2021, I want to take a moment to talk about the good ole days. The 2020 pandemic inflicted an elongated period of panic. Due to that, it’s easy to forget about how gaming life used to be. In the dawn of the digital age, pre-ordering games was a different atmosphere. There were literal pizza parties down at the local GameStop. Hundreds of people lined up for the pre-order of Modern Warfare 2 or for the other hottest new games at the time.

I used to play on a small box TV with a 480p resolution. I remember hooking up consoles with VGA cables instead of the simple HDMI cables that we have now. From the Nintendo64 to the PS2, to the Xbox 360, to now all the main brand consoles, I was pretty excited to reflect on some of the best Xbox One games to have come out. It’s been a crazy life!
